【槟城美食】Beyond Veggie by Secret Recipe @ Bayan Baru
看见这家Beyond Veggie开在Elit Avenue已经好几个月了，对于新开的店总有好奇心的我，终于按奈不住在星期五的晚上建议前往来这里用晚餐。
Beyond Veggie其实是我们常见的Secret Recipe蛋糕店旗下的素食餐厅。其实同事来这里用餐好几次了，对他们家的餐点赞不绝口，而且我也吃过一次那么多他们家的全素蛋糕，真的超好吃的，一点也不夸张。所以，对于各方的好评，让我对这家店有了很大的期待。
走进店里，竟然出乎意料地满座。其实我发现槟城人对于吃素这个理念，普遍上会比其他州属来得更容易接受些，而且在这里认识的吃素朋友，远比其他地方来得多。
当天因为超级饿了，所以除了正餐之外，还加点了一片蛋糕。
通常女生吃蛋糕，一个人吃完一片，就会觉得好腻，好Creamy, 好多卡路里，好胖，好罪恶。可是把这Hazel Choco蛋糕吃进口里之后，什么都忘光光了，只想一口接一口地吃（还是我最近食欲变好了XD)Mr.A看到这里一定会问我：你的食欲有不好过吗？其实想表达的只是这里的蛋糕真的好好吃，上层的巧克力和Walnut不但不会太甜腻，而且巧克力的香气逼人，和蛋糕中层陪着一起吃，真的是噢卖嘎。
我点的Carbonara Spaghetti RM20.90。这价钱对我来说是蛮贵的，可是看到芦笋这种比较高级的食材，心里才平衡一些些。这意大利面其实分量给得蛮多的，只是幸好吃起来不想外面吃到的那么腻，所以一个女生勉强还是可以吃完一份的。上头的炸物好像是炸菇类。还不错吃，只是味道淡了一些。说真的，对于这道食物的满意度远远低过上面那篇蛋糕。
Beyond Veggie餐牌上推荐的炒饭RM18.90。对于我们这些打工一族来说，一碟炒饭这样的价钱，其实是非常贵的。可是味道却还蛮有惊喜。饭粒的香味让我不觉得自己是在吃一碟全素的炒饭，比起意大利面，我更推荐这碟炒饭。
Mr.A点的Mushroom Mix Pizza RM22.00。种种菇类还有芝士，吃起来还蛮香的，可是吃多了却好腻。
最喜欢是这颗猴头菇，烤过之后，不但保有水分，而且吃进嘴里，非常香。我们两个都专挑这猴头菇来吃。
在餐桌上看到这下午茶的优惠，强烈推荐这里的蛋糕多过他们的餐点:)
